can you tell i'm obsessed with this owl? it's truly the most interesting thing happening on my land. it's amazingly tolerant of me standing under its tree, staring at it for long periods of time and taking (crappy) photos.
at this point i'd like to apologize to my regular readers for the long delay in the posting. my computer was truly broken, and i was forced to buy a new, cheap one that i can't really afford, because my work totally depends on it now (how did that happen?). but here i am, back again, and thank god i took a break from 'tooning for the summer, so catching up didn't take all day.
i can't make any promises about regular blogging from here on out, but i'll do my best, as we are all doing.

ReplyDeleteAnd yeah, the gaze of an owl is a special thing. My neighbor gave me one to take care of after it'd gotten caught in a storm and she found it on the ground, shivering. The little bit that we looked at on another was intense, to say the least.
