ok, can i just say, about this ferry ride, our boat made it out into the middle of Rosario Strait, couldn't get through the surf, and had to turn around, go back through Thatcher Pass, all the way up to the north end of Blakely, through Obstruction pass, around the northern tip of Cypress and back down to Anacortes. it was so crazy out there, and i've never felt so disturbed on a ferry.
