first nettles of 2010!!! jan.17.10

check these gorgeous babes out! it seems quite early for them to have gotten so huge. first nettle harvest is around candlemas/imbolg, two weeks away, in this neck of the woods...but i ain't complainin'!  i'm making sun tea. i also have a couple of different species of honeysuckles leafed out, and a blooming maple tree. heads up, witchy herbal geeks, spring is arriving!
